| This website was born of a
need. I knew there were a ton of happy hour specials--I drove
by signs and saw newspaper ads--but when that time rolled around,
who remembered where or when they were? We invariably went to
the same places at the same times (and ate the same appetizers,
and drank the same drinks). When I asked my friends where they
went to happy hour, they all replied in kind: "I don't
know where the good happy hours
are; we always go to the same place." So we had an idea... |

My friend Randy agreed
to provide the technical expertise, and we had lots
of help with the data collection. Over a few cocktails
and a sea of coffee, the happy hour database began to
take form.
Randy is an accomplished software engineering consultant
and has lived |
| in San Diego
for three years. His interests include piano, skiing,
softball, and tai chi, and he just earned a belt in choy
li fut kung fu. |

He is single
and quite a catch, ladies! You can drop him an email
at randy@happyhourinfo.info
or take your chances bumping into him (and Snickers,
left) in Pacific Beach.

I met my husband Stuart
(pictured at left in his home town near Cape Town, South
Africa) while we were both teaching scuba diving in Honduras.
We say California divers are very tough to dive in such
cold water! We're landlubbers now. |
|
| I teach
ballroom and latin dancing (my favorites are salsa and
Argentine tango) and take dance and business classes at
Mesa college. You can email me at kim@happyhourinfo.info. |

| Randy and I hope you enjoy
the fruits of our labor. We'll be out around town spreading
the word about the website, reviewing happy hours, and taking
photos for our new photo gallery.
If you see us, please say hello! We love meeting new people,
and always appreciate your feedback on the site, and any suggestions
for features you would like to see. |
Cheers,
